Retired Air Force General: ISR Authority Should Be Shifted To ISR Agency

The Air Force should shift the responsibility for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance investments from Air Combat Command to the Air Force ISR Agency in order to more effectively manage ISR investments, a retired service official told Inside the Pentagon. "Right now you have competing interests at Air Combat Command between ISR requirements and the panoply of weapon system requirements that are the responsibility of the command.
