Gas output in the Lower-48 rose by 1.1%, or n720,000 Mcf/d, in September to total 70.4 Bcf/d, EIA said. nThat was up from a revised figure of 69.68 Bcf/d in August. nProduction in the federal offshore Gulf declined by 13.5%, nor 650,000 Mcf/d, to 4.17 Bcf/d in September. EIA attributed nthe decline to the effects of Tropical Storm Lee. Meanwhile, nWyoming saw the largest gain as production resumed nafter gas plant maintenance, EIA said. Production there nrose 9.2%, or 550,000 Mcf/d, to 6.56 Bcf/d in September. nLouisiana production rose 1.8% to 8.82 Bcf/d, while Texas nproduction climbed 1.4% to 22 Bcf/d and Oklahoma saw a nproduction increase of 1.5% to 5.36 Bcf/d. Other states saw nproduction climb 1.3% to 19.79 Bcf/d from a revised 19.53 nBcf/d in August. Total US production in September, includ-ning Alaska, was 79.13 Bcf/d, up 3.5% from a revised 76.47 nBcf/d in August.
