Omya and Ittihad Paper Mill in Abu Dhabi for Manufacture of PCC

Omya will build and operate a new onsite PCC plant for Ittihad Paper Mill with an initial capacity of 100,000 dry metric tons per year. Startup is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018. Omya and Ittihad Paper Mill L.L.C in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, have signed a cooperation agreement for the manufacture of Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC). Ittihad Paper Mill will be producing high-quality printing and writing paper grades for the domestic and export markets.
