摘要

(ZrO_2)_(0.90)(Sc_2O_3)_(0.10-x)(Fe_2O_3)-x solid solutions have been studied by X-ray diffraction and Moessbauer spectroscopy. The results demonstrate that heat treatment in the range 1420-1810 K destabilizes the fluorite-type structure (C-ZrO_2) of the Fe-free (x = 0) material and stabilizes it in the Fe-containing samples (0.01 < x < 0.05). The increase in the stability of the high-temperature cubic form of zirconia can be accounted for by the influence of ScFeO_3 dissolved in C-ZrO_2.
