摘要

The basic possibility is studied for producing biocompatible oxide coatings on periosteal osteofixation devices from stainless steel using the air-thermal oxidation method. The properties of the coatings are studied at different temperature modes of oxidation. Steel osteofixation devices with air-thermal oxide coatings are studied in vivo and show their high biocompatibility with thecoatings produced at oxidation temperatures of 400 and 500℃ and exposure of 0.5 h.
