Lallemand Probiotks granted Halal Certification by IFANCA

Lallemand has announced that its major yeast and bacteria probiotic products have received the Halal certification from IFANCA, the Islamic Food And Nutrition Council of America. The company's probiotic products that have received the Halal certification to date are the famous yeast probiotic Saccharomyces boulardii and the Probiocap~® microencapsulated bacteria strains: Lactobacillus Rosell-52; Lactobaclllus Rosell-11; Lactobacillus easel Rosell-215; and Bifidobacterium Rosell-175. These probiotic strains are well described; they enter into the formulation of the company's key probiotic supplements and are also available for direct sales or for Inclusion Into custom formulations.
