LGC secures exclusive worldwide distributor deal for specialist marine biotoxins

LGC is delighted to announce that it has become the exclusive worldwide distributor of CIFGA's specialist marine biotoxin standards and reference materials. CIFGA is a leading producer of marine biotoxin standards and reference materials and this agreement enables current CIFGA customers to take advantage of LCC's extensive logistics, supply and distribution capabilities. Contamination of shellfish is a food safety issue and monitoring of these toxins is required. In addition, recent changes in EU legislation have resulted in a move away from animal testing to chemical testing of these toxins.
