Academy of Engineering, Singapore

摘要

In an earlier article in Vol. 11 No. 1, 2012, an account was given on the birth of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore, in September 2011. To date, it has elected 79 Fellows consisting of eminent engineers from the industry and academia. Names familiar to readers are J Y Pillay, Ho Ching, Liew Mun Leong, Wong Ngit Liong, Koh Boon Hwee, Chew Choon Seng and Philip Yeo who can serve as good role models for aspiring young engineers. The Patron of the Academy is Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean.
