7th International Science Youth Forum with Nobel Laureates and Eminent Scientists in Singapore

The International Science Youth Forum (1SYF) has entered its seventh year and was held from 18th to 22nd January 2015. It was jointly organised by the Institute of Advanced Studies (IAS), Manyang Technological University (NTU) and Hwa Chong Institution, with strong support from the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A~*STAR) and the Ministry of Education. Once again, the 1SYF has successfully brought students from all over the world together, to share their passion for science and enhance their knowledge through insightful discussions with scientists from various fields. We were privileged to host seven eminent scientists: Professor Aaron Ciechanover (The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2004), Sir Andre Geim (The Nobel Prize in Physics 2010), Professor Arieh Warshel (The Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2013), Professor Claude Cohen-Tannoudji (The Nobel Prize in Physics 1997), Sir Richard John Roberts (The Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine 1993), Sir Tim Hunt (The Nobel Prize in Physiology/Medicine 2001) and Professor Ngo Bao Chau (The Fields Medal 2010).
