He has to go to school, and, since it's much too far to walk, he has to get up in the morning and at least communicate the fact that he wants to hitch a ride. And, of course, as his addled father, I have to ask him to come and push the proper sequence of 16 buttons to show what's been recorded on the digital videorecord-er (DVR), which costs more per month than basic cable used to cost per year.
