As if the election last Nov. 2 wasn't enough to show that the U.S. is a nation divided by the concept of moral values, the movie Kinsey was released on Nov. 12. Roger Ebert called it "a fascinating biography of the Indiana University professor" whose research into human sexual behavior in the 1940s and 1950s was often met with shock and condemnation. Predictably, people now are condemning the movie too. According to an article in The Washington Post (http://www .washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/ articles/A24722004Nov21 .html), conservative Christian groups such as Focus on the Family and Concerned Women for America have protested the film. Family.org, the Web site run by Focus on the Family, has published a page called The Truth About Kinsey (http:// www.family.org/topics/a0034 455.cfm) that includes links to many articles that condemn the movie and Kinsey's work. One article stated: "Kinsey's research has done much to destroy the moral fabric of America."
