The Spring 2009 ASIDIC Meeting: Innovation in a Time of Change

It should come as no surprise that we are in the middle of a period of rapid and extensive change: New technologies appear frequently, services based on Web 2.0 technologies continue to be developed, and global economic change causes turmoil in the markets. The program of the Spring 2009 ASIDIC meeting March 22-24 in Tampa, Fla., focused on these changes and their impact on the IT industry. Although the economic constraints affected attendance and the audience was smaller than usual, those who did attend learned innovative ways of meeting today's significant challenges.
