ProQuest Unveils Peru Database, eLibrary Features, JBI Resources

The first installment of Peru: Human Rights, Drugs and Democracy, 1980-2000-a collection of primary-source documents from the U.S. embassy in Lima, Peru; U.S. military officials; and U.S. intelligence-is now available in ProQuest, LLC's Digital National Security Archive. The 1,997 documents in the collection provide a glimpse of U.S. foreign policy in Latin America and the internal, domestic politics of Peru. The first installment covers events that occurred from 1966 to 1990, while the second installment, to be released in 2009, covers events that occurred from 1990 to 2004.
