Taylor & Francis and EIFL: Facilitating Access to Scientific Journals

EIFL (Electronic Information for Libraries), a not-for-profit organization that was one of the original signatories of the Budapest Open Access Initiative, and Taylor & Francis Group recently announced an agreement to help researchers in countries with developing economies publish their work at reduced rates or free of charge. Authors from EIFL's network countries (45 in total from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Latin America) will see a reduced or free article-processing charge (APC) when submitting papers to any of Taylor & Francis' and Routledge's open access (OA) journals.
