The articles I've highlighted in this issue are from the March/ April Marketing Library Services (MLS) newsletter and the April/May issue of Streaming Media (SM). The MLS How-To article addresses a question that librarians may have been grappling with, especially during COVID-19. The SM feature provides tips that can benefit anyone who takes part in virtual gatherings. George Pike should be well-known to Information Today readers, as he authors the Legal Issues column. A law librarian who runs a university law school's legal research center, he is more than qualified to detail why, "Yes, It's Legal to Email Patrons" in MLS. At the article's outset, he states, "I'm confident in my overview of the legal issues surrounding privacy law and using patrons' email addresses for marketing communication."
