Web Data Management Practices: Emerging Techniques and Technologies

As the demand for data and information management increases, there is also a critical need for effectively managing the Web content. Web data management seems to be of high importance for a wide academic and technical audience due to the difficulties raised by the diversity of Web data structure and representation, information distribution, communication and accessing costs. The challenge for us is to edit a book such that it will contribute in understanding the foundations upon which to build techniques and practices related to management of data on the Web. Moreover, we would like to provide a pathway for current researchers and developers interested in this area. The above reasons have motivated us to edit a book for the emerging Web data management practices.
