Hypertext and the Female Imaginary explores representative postmodern works in electronic and film media that employ hypertcxtual strategies of narrative fragmentation. In doing so, it engages with two themes that pervade early twenty-first century society the experience of postmodernity and the capabilities of information and communications technology (ICT).
