Using rules to specify classification strategies in the credit card industry

Classifying accounts is a critical part of efficiently servicing credit cards. The use of rules enables natural specification of classification strategies. A problem we call the Rule Coverage Problem (RCP) arrises when rules are employed of specifying a classification Strategy, and we develop and compare three approaches for solving this problem.
