Silk Mark Rre-rangali Bihu festival at guwahati

Shri Pranab Gogoi, Minister for Handloom, Textiles & Sericulture, Government of Assam inaugurated the week-long Silk Mark Pre-Rangali Bihu Festival-2008 at NEDFi Haat, Ambari, Guwahati on March 10, 2008. In his inaugural address, the Minister opined that eri and muga silks being unique to the region, draw special attention of buyers. He also appreciated the efforts of Silk Mark Organisation of India (SMOI), in their endeavour to enable consumers to get pure silk products.
