Mahila Kisan Sashaktikaran Pariyojana: Women empowerment through tasar culture

摘要

Empowering the individual means empowering the nation. And, it is best served through rapid economic growth with the social change. Under MKSP, focus has been to empower women through providing them sustainable livelihood options alongside tasar culture round the year, by supporting producer groups to adopt improved technologies, creating common assets for them to build their capabilities and federating them into viable community institutions. Details of achievement are presented here.
