There was good news for all Metro commuters when the on-line smart card recharge facility was launched for the first time. Metro authorities developed the user friendly smart card recharge App amidst the lockdown. This new App will enable Metro commuters to recharge their smart cards from the comforts of their home and eliminate queues at Metro stations when services will resume after COVID-19 lockdown, thus ensuring social distancing.
