The Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS) is an Autonomous Organization of the Ministry of Railways, with its headquarters in New Delhi and Regional Offices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai. It develops and manages the IT systems of the Indian Railways and to conceptualize and realize technology driven business transformation initiatives. CRIS's portfolio of projects covers the gamut of Indian Railways' various functions. Mobile apps based on these domains provide information at the passengers' fingertips.
