Flagging Off of Upgraded DEMU Train (Karwar-Pernem) at Karwar Station

The upgraded DEMU train between Karwar and Pernem has been flagged off by Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Shri Anant Kumar Hegde on 4 September, 2018 at Karwar Railway station. The Upgraded DEMU train rake has following salient features: 1. This new design rake with well ventilated eight cars will enhance the passenger capacity with improved comfort level. 2. The rake with quick acceleration and quick braking is fit for fast and frequent services.
