Electromechanical equipment for 1500 MW Nathpa-Jhakri hydel project

The procurement of electro-mechanical equipment after firming up the parameters and finalization of specifications was broadly divided into two categories namely - main packages and auxiliary packages. Main packages included -generator, control and protection system, excitation system, turbine, crane, MIV, governor, draft tube, cooling water system and air supply system, butterfly valve along with crane, generator transformer and transformer hall crane, GIS and CGI bus duct and rest of the equipment was covered in auxiliary packages.
