摘要

In this paper, the effect of magnetic field on the convective pattern in a horizontal layer of fluid under rotation is examined for both stationary and oscillatory case. Existence of overstability is ensured for the problem for particular set of parameters influencing the motion viz. Q-the rotation parameter, η'-the parameter responsible for magnetic effect, τ-the ratio of solutal and temperature diffusivity etc.
