摘要

According a status report on groundwater by the National Capital Region (NCR) Planning Board, the water table in the NCR is dipping by 2 meters every year. Extracts of the report published in a national newspaper suggest that Delhi and portions of Rajasthan falling in the NCR extract almost double the amount of groundwater that is recharged every year.
