Based on the results of these experiments the following conclusions can be drawn: 1. The maximum moment capacity or flexural strength of the fabricated ferrocement box beam, channel beam, and I- cross section beam did not fall below the calculated ultimate moment capacity of 4.4 kN-m. This means that the box, channel and I-beam are safe for use as building components such as lintels, floor joists and temporary structures with the minimum live loads. 2. The control of deflection was a major problem in all the ferrocement beams. To overcome it the use of a stiffener at the middle portion of the beam is recommended.
