摘要

A field experiment was carried out during the period of 2014-2015 in rabi season at Crop Research and Seed Multiplication Farm, The University of Burdwan to assess the effect of different fertilizer level, vermicompost and integration of vermicompost with fertilizer on plant height (cm), number of tubers per hill and tuber yield per ha. Six treatments (Three different fertilizer level, one vermicompost, one integration of vermicompost with fertilizer level and control) were studied. Among the treatment, integration of vermicompost (1.5 ton ha~(-1) with fertilizer level (N. P and K kg ha~(-1) ) viz. 150:125:125 were significantly highest number of tubers per hill and also for getting high yield of potato in old alluvial soil of Burdwan . West Bengal.
