World's cheapest tablet makes debuts in India

The world's cheapest tablet was announced in India in October. The Aakash (made by UK-based Datawind) was expected to be available to users by the end of 2011. There will be two prices for this tablet; US $35 [Rs. 1700/-] under an Indian government plan to equip students, and a normal retail price of US $60 [Rs.2990/-].
