A pierce type convergent electron gun with coaxial compact geometry has been designed and developed for a broadband gain and phase matched miniature helix travelling wave Tube. Fro the design of above gun, synthesis approach particularly for the estimation of anode hole aperture has been modified and used, which resulted in closer agreement with experimental value of the same parameter
