A biological tissue sample with some fibrotic tendons and a stained section of the tissue with the same acoustic impedance as the unstained tissue is investigated by a coaxial reflective ultrasound-modulated optical tomography. Both fibers and stained tissue are visualized as ultrasound-modulated optical signals from different reflection light patterns. Analysis of the backscattered light characteristic has been investigated and indicated that these signals involve microscopic changes in speckle pattern and macroscopic changes in reflected light distribution.%超音波光計測法は,光散乱体内部で拡散した光の一部を局所超音波で変調することで,光散乱体深部の光学的情報を高い空間分解能で光計測する手法である.
