In the safety evaluation for base-station workers, it is necessary to master the near-field electric field distribution in the base-station neighborhood. In this study, we discussed a two-step approach to estimate the near-field electric field distribution from the measured electric field data on a cylinder containing the base-station antenna. At first we estimated the antenna current distribution by dividing the antenna into many small dipoles. Then we estimated the near-field electric field distribution by using the antenna current distribution. The simulation results showed that the electric field can be estimated within a relative error of 6%. We also applied this method to a realistic vertical linear array antenna and compared the estimated and the measured electric field distributions outside the measuring cylinder. They exhibited good agreement. This agreement suggests the validity of the estimated near-field electric field distribution inside the measuring cylinder.%基地局作業者の安全性評価において,基地局アンテナ近傍の電界強度の把握が不可欠である.
