This paper presents an application of the dynamic reservationnprotocol on DECT systems for prioritized multirate mobile data services.nThis protocol allows data terminals to access uplink channels throughncontention-free reservations. It can adapt to traffic variations byndynamically changing the transmission cycle length. Since this protocolnis built on the top of the DECT physical layer, it can be implemented onnthe DECT systems without interfering with the voice service, just likenCDPD on top of the digital AMPS
