Frequency-domain spectral balance using the arithmetic operator method

摘要

A frequency-domain spectral balance method for the simulation of nonlinear analog circuits with multidimensional nonlinearities is presented. The method is coupled with a combination of Shamanskii and block Newton iteration schemes to produce an efficient general-purpose simulator. The technique is verified with measurements of a MESFET amplifier with single-tone and two-tone excitations.
