摘要

A number of numerical techniques currently being applied to modern microwave and millimeter-wave integrated circuit structures are reviewed. A number of modeling techniques used in conjunction with these numerical methods, which make the entire simulation process more manageable, are described briefly followed by an assessment of each method. The methods covered are: finite difference. finite element, boundary element TLM, method of lines, integral equation, moment, Galerkin's mode matching, spectral domain, and generalized scattering matrix.
