摘要

AC magnetization measurements for transverse orientation have been completed on a multifilamentary Nb/sub 3/Sn composite wire, which is a candidate for fusion applications. Using these data, it was possible to determine the critical-current density using the Bean-Campbell analysis in the ranges B>or=10 T and 4.2 K>T>11 K. Technical operating parameters required during forced flow conditions are explicitly determined.
