Precession-Dominated Reversal of Synthetic Antiferromagnets and Synthetic Ferrimagnets

Reversal of synthetic antiferromagnetic and synthetic ferrimagnetic multilayer structures are studied theoretically in the precession-dominated regime. The role of key material and geometrical parameters for determining the switching characteristics and addressing regions are investigated.
