A review of manufacturers recommendation for the grounding of distributed control systems in generating stations

This progress report was prepared y the IEEE Working Group on Std 1050, "Guide for Instrumentation and Control equipment Grounding in Generating Stations." This Report summarizes a review of the grounding rec- Ommendations made by the manufacturers of eleven Distributed control systems which are presently being applied In generating stations. The diverity of grounding Recommendation shown by this review are discussed along With a necessary course of action.
