Effect of Internal Processes in a Water Body on Iodine Content in the Waters of the Dnieper Reservoirs

Interconnection of iodine with some other components of chemical composition of water (dissolved oxygen, water mineralization, value of pH, organic matter) have been considered. The influence of vital activity of phytoplankon on the content of iodine in water has been determined. The dependence of iodine-ions concentration from oxidizing-reducing condition of aquatic environment has been discovered.
