TVA names new chief generation officer

Charles G. "Chip" Pardee was named the new executive vice president and chief generation officer of Tennessee Valley Authority in April. In this role, Pardee's responsibilities include otimizing T VA's fleet of hydro-eletric assets, as well as its nuclear, coal, gas and renewable generation resources. "Chip is a great addition to TVA's executive team. He has the industry knowledge and leadership experience we need to manage TVA's diverse energy generation portfolio as we continue increasing the use of nuclear power, natural gas and renewable resources and we decrease our reliance on coal.
