The third alternative (10-foot raise) addresses all dam safety deficiencies and represents a technically and cost-effective solution to meet EID's energy production and water supply requirements. The estimated cost is $18 million. Thernenvironmental impact report was certified March 24. The FERC license amendment process is expected to be complete in 2015, with construction beginning in late summer 2015 and final by the end of 2016.
