AC Transit selects EnerDel to supply batteries for next-generation fuel cell buses

According to AC Transit General Manager Rick Fernandez, the Alam-eda-Contra Costa Transit District has contracted with Fnerl's lithium-ion battery subsidiary FncrDel to produce batteries for what the district calls, "One of the most advanced urban transit buses in the world." Fernandez added, "AC Transit has placed orders for 16 new, next-generation, hybrid-electric fuel cell buses, to replace the three older model fuel cell buses it has been operating since 2006."
