On September 17, 2019, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold a public listening session on proposed changes to its hours-of-service rules for truck drivers. The session will be webcast so that interested parties may participate remotely, according to a notice published in the Federal Register September 3. The listening session will be held at 1:00 PM local time at the U.S. Department of Transportation, 1200 New Jersey Avenue SE, Washington, D.C. 20590. The session will end at 3:00 PM or earlier if all participants who wish to express their views have done so. All comments will be transcribed and placed in the rulemaking docket for the FMCSA’s consideration.
