New York City employers with 15 or more employees must accommodate working mothers by having a writtenlactation room accommodation policy in place by March 17. Covered employers will be required to provideemployees with a lactation room upon request.The New York City Council enacted amendments to the New York City Administrative Code in November of2018, with a March 17, 2019, effective date.
