Human resource management in Israel: A multi-faceted perspective

This special issue features eight articles that address various aspects of human resource management (HRM) in Israel. In order to put the papers in their proper perspective, we will first discuss some general aspects of the work environment in Israel and then delve into more specific HRM practices that exemplify the local scene. Some of these features will then be compared to other Western countries and cultures. Finally, as the contributions here cover a multi-faceted perspective of HRM in Israel, we will try to find common themes before discussing briefly the unique focus of each contribution.
