Editorial

摘要

The purpose of this short editorial serves to introduce a special refereed section in this issue on HRD in Australia. Special themed sections are an occasional feature in our Journal, the first one appeared several years ago on the topic of Defining HRD (Human Resource Development International, 2001) and contains articles that are among the most frequently cited pieces in HRDI. Special sections contain collections of articles with a particular and important focus on an under-researched area in the field that have been solicited as the result of a proposal to the journal by experts in the field. As with all refereed papers, special section contributions undergo the regular double-blind independent review and revision process under the direction of the Journal Editor.
