摘要

We begin this issue of HRDI with Meera Alagaraja, Denise Cumberland and Namok Choi's contribution to the study of leadership and management practices in relation to strategic value and organizational performance. The paper poses difficult questions for HRD to address when evaluating the strategic value of HRD's contribution to organizations, but concludes with some positive messages for our field.
