According to final reports on the the 2010 midterm elections filed with the Federal Election Commission. three of the five largest contributors in races for the House and Senate were close allies of Obama and the Democrats the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), the largest contributor of all to candidates, with $87.5 million, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) at $44 million, and the National Education Association (NEA) at $40 million.
