This is the best book of this genre that I have read, pondered, and reviewed. There's not much more that I need to say, but for the sake of information sharing, the following comments are offered. This book is different from other books of the same subject. The authors have made this a calculation-based book, populated with some 200 case studies. But before the mathematically challenged risk/hazard assessors stampede to the nearest exit, the calculations and underpinning mathematics are basic and well-explained and illustrated by Theodore and Dupont. Indeed, the illustrative calculations of risk/hazard are the strength of this book.
