PHADA Asks General Counsel To Review Operating Fund Process For Fairness, Transparency

The Public Housing Authorities Directors Association (PHADA) has asked HUD General Counsel Keith E. Gottfried to review the regulatory process the HUD Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) has followed in implementing the public housing operating fund final rule. PHADA made the request in an August 15 letter to Gottfried in preparation for his appearance as a guest speaker at the group's legislative conference in September. PHADA asked Gottfried to address their concerns about HUD's regulatory process.
